Description: I finally finished the last part of renovating my laundry room! I love how it has turned out. I think it needs something extra over the dryer - any suggestions? I wanted to change it a little bit, but I can't figure it out because of the storage closet behind the dryer. I love the hallway makeover. I also made the hallway a little play room for the kids with the white board. They enjoy chilling out there alone and drawing. It looks a lot more updated and clean now. I have to clean the entire house during the renovations which is a little hard when you can't put any of your tools or painting supplies away! I am starting on the kitchen makeover next by installing a new backsplash! I chose tumbled travertine and I believe it will remind everyone of when we lived in Israel. It is beautiful! It's a long process, but the end result is worth it. I am trying to use what I have and make this a budget makeover. I have a lot of the paint and supplies already, but I am enjoying being able to buy tools that I've always wanted and never had. If you have the right tools, it makes the job so much easier. I am so happy to finally be able to do things the right way! I am very happy to be able to share the entire process with you. Home renovation is not easy, and it definitely takes more time than you think it will! We even got divorced 10 times already. Our renovation is not some 30 minute makeover show on tv, that is for sure! I am also trying to make the home solid and seal up all the areas where we could possibly get drafts, to save on our electricity bill. This is a small single wide mobile home 2 bedroom 1.5 bathrooms. A lot of people are asking if we are making another room for the kids since they share a room. Due to the expense of that, we will probably never do that, but we are making sure the kids have separate areas, and even take turns sleeping in different areas when they want to. We're updating our electric and changing out our plugs and light switches. We're trying to fix the light flickering problem. Thank you again for all the encouragement. This is a slow process, but progress is being made three feet every day! I am hoping when we're done, our home and our spirits will be renewed.
