It's now a 4K android media player. Its fast and supports app installs. The chromecast comes with an included remote which works really well. I think this remote is what sets this chromecast apart from that last few generations of chromecast. The DVR for recording live over the air TV is called Tablo. Its awesome! I have had it for years but in the last year the software has been updated and now Tablo works really well.
