We had a great time in the kitchen today. These Chocolate Pecan Craisins Apple Pops were so good and made us feel like they were just a little healthier than a regular snack. Well anyway it's special because we made it with family. Lets make these Chocolate Apple Pops. 5 Apples (sliced into 3rds) 1 (16 oz) pkg. Chocolate Almond Bark (or semi sweet baking chocolate) Craisins for Sprinkling Pecans for Sprinkling Skewers for Apple Pops (if desired) Wash clean and dry apples well. Cut into 1/3 slices or whatever size you would like. Making sure to dry them well on all cut sides. Use paper towels. You can keep a fan on to help them stay dry. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in a double boiler over medium heat. Skewer the apples making sure to keep them dry. Dip the apples one at a time into the chocolate. Use a spoon to help cover if necessary. Lay out on parchment paper and begin to sprinkle with pecans, craisins and powdered sugar. Leave until they totally harden up.
