Also I made a dimmable diy led light for the tank. It's really a simple and easy to maintain nano aquarium which is ideal for a betta. You only need to give it a bit of fertilizer for the floating plants, the crypto itself could survive by getting enough nutrition from the substrate. PS: this DIY light isn't bad at all, and since I had almost everything at home it was really low cost, but if I had to buy everything from the scratch it would have been much more expensive. Imho DIY stuff are good, but I prefer the factory solution what has better looking and better light (kind reminder: it's my humble opinion).
