Description: This is a commissioned watercolor of Charlie Chaplin (and Virginia Cherril) from his classic movie City Lights. The person who requested this watercolor asked that I paint it in black and white, just like in the film, so I am using Mars Black from Old Holland and nothing else here. At the moment I am swamped with commissions and projects that will keep me busy until April, but if you have a request (and honestly if you have a good reference photo and subject I find appealing), I'll be happy to put you on my wait list!
