Description: Get behind the scenes videos, real time updates, and a personalized video greeting from us! Join our Patreon family today - every little bit helps us with the build. patreon.com/mjsailing Spring is definitely in full swing here in Maryland, which means we are having a lot more beautiful days to knock projects out. One item we've been working at on and off for the past two months, is our water tanks. A few episodes ago you'll have seen that Matt began to fair them out with an epoxy based primer, but what's next? The steps seem simple, but boy have there been a lot of them. After the fairing was a coat of primer - but we couldn't complete all of the tank? Why? We've decided to enlarge them! So after the next step of bonding on more foam, we cut the lids and prepare them for our very cool Vetus inspection ports. Then, it's adding our 90 degree flanges (pretty sure I say it right this time) onto the edges of our tank, and once that's done, we can bond on the lid. And there we have the water tanks for our boat! Lighter than plastic, and because they're bonded in, they now become structural too. Plus, one of our real time updates to our Patrons from back on March 10th. We hope you enjoy! Much love from Annapolis!
