Description: This time I try Carving a wooden cup from dry Spalted Beech! It is a cut off from a slab that i had laying around. Although the wood is quite hard to carve i had so much fun doing it. I soaked the finished cup for a couple of hours in RAW Linseed oil and wiped it off afterward, I let it dry for 3 days. Pure linseed oil is a food-safe finish and it works perfectly to seal up the end grain and prevent the cup from leaking. You can find all the carving tools I used in this video down below! Thank you very much for watching! Big thanks to all my patrons especially The Nerd Inventor, Sithis Michaelis, and Larry Radcliffe!
