Description: primitivepathways.com Billy Berger tests the penetration capabilities of a primitive bow and stone tipped arrows against different deer heads to see if a primitive bow can generate enough force to drive a stone tipped arrow through a deer's skull and deep enough into the brain to be lethal. Billy Berger uses a 55 lb raw hickory longbow (not fire hardened or heat treated) and a 650 grain rivercane arrow tipped with flint points made of raw Texas flint. The points were made a bit thicker so they would be more durable and better able to survive the hard impact of striking bone. Can a primitive bow generate enough force to drive a stone tipped arrow into the brain of a deer deep enough to be lethal if you chance a head shot? Let's find out!
