They used to be one of the most relevant media companies - even if they were usually the butt of the joke. Now it feels like other companies have stepped in and taken over, but BuzzFeed has decided to stay the course and change absolutely nothing about their business model. Especially the quizzes. Speaking of an oversaturated market kind of ruining the fun, the commentary genre is feeling pretty stale to me lately. I sense the end of an era coming up. The genre as a whole is gonna have to shift to a more interesting direction if it wants to stay alive. Sitting and talking to a camera about a single piece of media for 20 minutes isn't gonna cut it anymore. We may be moving on to something different very soon. I just hope you had as much fun with it as I did these last few years.
