Description: Its early Spring, and Alaskan Homesteaders across the North have run out of firewood. Its time to get out and harvest firewood as fast as we can before the rivers thaw and our ice highways into the mountains are cut off. But gathering a years supply of firewood is no easy task. So for the next few days, I am going to be cutting and bucking firewood in the Alaskan bush and I'll build a bushcraft log cabin from the wood rounds I cut as a temporary shelter while I spend days cutting and hauling firewood for the upcoming year. Special thanks to Jake from the YouTube channel "How To Alaska" youtube.com/c/HowtoAlaska Jake took the excellent drone shots, and loaned me his snowmobile and trailer for this video.
