Description: Building and riding real MTB freeride - The tree ramp! I build a bike ramp up a tree with the goal of landing a backflip to fakie, I use dirt, wood and man power to create this sick feature, but will my build and ride challenge work? It was too windy to ride anywhere due to storm Franklin ripping across the UK but luckily I was able to find a secluded woodland with a perfect set up ready for me to build a crazy tree ramp quarter pipe all for the one goal of landing a backflip to fakie out of a tree!! I start of but laying logs at the base of the tree and this is a key trail building technique to save time with digging dirt. After this I shape a perfect dirt transition before joining it all up with the wooden slats that I screwed into the tree! Once completing the ramp it was the time to take my custom Haibike dirt jump bike to the sky and get a backflip spinning but would it be easy? Let me know what you want to see next!
