Description: In this video I successfully convert a car alternator into a brushless motor. I do this by removing the field coil electromagnet from the rotor and replacing it with a permanent magnet. Old Rusty is now on version 4! The alternator is from a 1998 Ford F-150. Battery is 18.2Ah made using Sony VTC5 cells (13S7P).
