Description: This is a long-form project video covering pretty much the entire build and improvement process of a free standing articulated camera mount that we build to help film our car project videos. We start the video with a design, some metal, and some bolts, and by the end we have a pretty decent functional camera mount that lets us get a wide variety of angles and position a camera quickly. Almost all of the development, decisions, and failures along the way are documented in this video, as well as ideas for the future and testing that was done over the course of using it for a year and a half. The video is a bit more bare-bones than usual, which is a byproduct of several factors but is also why we were able to make such a long video (which is often what viewers ask for). This build was a fun project and putting this video together took a lot of time and effort, so I hope the finished product is enjoyable! Fun fact: The file size of this video, the longest edited video on this channel, is just under 50GB. Timeline of filming: March 22nd, 2018 – March 24th, 2018 (Building) March 25th, 2018 – October 30th, 2019 (Use, Modifications, Finished Arm Shots) Thanks for watching, and joining us on this adventure!
