Description: 7 Locomotives Lug Nearly 3 Mile Long Train! 2 Locomotives Mid Train, 5 Locomotives Leading! Norfolk Southern super train in Middletown, Ohio. CSX hi rail truck inspecting the CSX mainline near Miamisburg, Ohio. I filmed the Norfolk Southern train passing Miamisburg with 4 engines and then heard them say on the radio that they were having problems. They broke down just north of Middletown and waited for 3 more locomotives. It took them about 6 hours to get the locomotives situated. 2 locomotives are in the middle of the train as mid train DPUs. DPU stands for Distributed Power Unit. The train then stopped a few miles south of Middletown right under I-75 for a crew change. I saw the locomotives when I drover over I-75 on my long way home. The defect detector says this train is over 14,000 feet long which is almost 3 miles!! Filmed February 12, 2022. Listen in on 160.980 Thanks for watching!
