Description: The time of propagation and tree care is in October-November every year You should plant bulbs that emerge above the ground so that the plants do not rot How to propagate lily plants: sowing seeds, separating bulbs, cuttings and separating shoots. (1) Sowing seeds: The method is as follows: In autumn, seeds are collected, stored, and sown next spring. After sowing 20-30 days the seeds germinate. Seedlings need shade. In autumn, there are tubers under the soil, which can be dug up and planted. The way to sow seeds to grow seedlings also depends on the species, and it takes a long time to grow after 3 years to have flowers. This method is not suitable for growing lilies in the home. (2) Splitting small bulbs: If you need to multiply one plant or many plants, the following method can be applied: usually old bulbs can grow many small bulbs, harvest lilies in September-October, just split a few small bulbs, store them in the sand to keep them in the room over the winter. Next spring, they will be planted in pots. Cultivation until September - October 3rd year can grow large tubers. This method we get less amount, only suitable for home floriculture. (3) Chives cuttings. This method can multiply moderate amounts. In the fall, dig up the tubers and get the old, thick sheaths. Each sheath needs to let a little root, dry, then plug into a flower pot or a sandbox, let 2/3 of the root plug into the substrate, keep the substrate moist and the temperature is about 20oC, after half a month, the roots will grow. Winter temperature should be kept at 18oC, sand should not be too wet. Cultivated until spring next year, big tubers grow into small sheaths, separated and planted in pots, enhanced management, after 3 years, flowers bloom. (4) Bud separation: Propagation by bud separation is only suitable for some species. The method is as follows: Take the axillary bud below the root to raise, they will grow into bulbs and flower, usually takes 2-4 years. To promote the formation of small axillary shoots, after the flowers bloom, the plant can be compacted and filled with soil, or filled with high soil on plants with 3-4 axillary leaves, they can form buds.
