How it ended up in Ancient Evil is an interesting (and serendipitous) story. A few weeks before we shipped AE, I was cleaning my office and stumbled on an old CD under some boxes. It turned out it had a bunch of music that I wrote in the late 90’s. I listened to it and felt some nostalgia, but ultimately I put the CD away and finished cleaning. Not too long after that, @kingskylark dropped by my office and said he needed some “medieval” sounding music for the Play. It was so weird that I had written something like that and had just listened to it earlier that day. So we put it in the game to make sure the vibe was right…and I spent the next day recreating the song using modern instruments and techniques.
