But that's not true. The reality is a bit more complicated. While its true that it made a billion INTERNATIONALLY, in the domestic market, is a different story. It was projected to make $450 mill, but ended un making $400 mill. Is the $50 million shortfall the price payed by Marvel for having a racist, sexist bigot staring as Captain Marvel? I believe so. And just like the north, the internet remembers. And Brei Larson will have to carry that $50mill shortfall into Captain Marvel 2, is she worth that price tag?
