It is our small attempt to making monday (internationally known as the worst day of the week) a bit brighter:-) When we make these bottle videos we always want to do something new and special, so this time we are using the bending technique AND we also painted our faces with fluorescent paint (and if you have just shaved it hurts like hell!!). What you normally don’t see in our videos, is that all the bottle racks have fluorescent duct tape on them, so for this occasion we also rented a UV cannon to make the faces and the bottles light up in the dark! Btw the video is shot in our own studio. The song we chose to play is “Locked Out of Heaven” by Bruno Mars. The song is just perfect for bottles, because it has very distinctive instrumental parts (the bassline, the second lead voice and of course the MPC-driven “bended” sample in the original version. Just perfect. Thanks Bruno!:-D It always takes a lot of hours to produce these videoes, because they’re all shoot in one take. This means that at a major (or even a minor - since we are really picky) fuckup we have to start all over! But it always works out in the end ;-) Nerd talk: We shot the video with a really expensive Canon camera (shot by our über cool photographer Jeppe) and recorded the sound with two Neumann Km184 (XY) into an Apogee Quartet audio interface.
