Description: I have never seen that many birds welcoming a Boeing 747 at an airport after its landing. Around 200 crows were just sitting and flying around ad the end of the runway while the former Boeing 747 of Iron Maiden arrived on runway 21 at Maastricht Airport. The crows stayed near the runway until the B747 came quite close to them and then they flew away. Interesting motif for me but the other photographers weren` t that happy about the birds. They tried to scare them away by shouting and clapping because the birds could have ruined their picture. The birds couldn` t care less but the B747 came closer they flew away. Two Boeing 747` s of Air Atlanta arrived at Maastricht that day within ten minutes. Both of them are in a passenger configuration but right now they only operate cargo. These B747` s are called "Preighters" (pax + freighter). Atlanta is one of the biggest B747 operators worldwide and I decided to include some more Air Atlanta planes I have filmed in the past two years.
