Description: This time on the AutoEdits YouTube channel... I install a Fusion 4x4 Elite 44 Front Axle in the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon we've been building over the last several years for one of the single best upgrades yet! This is the link to the exact front axle I installed for more information: fusion4x4.com/products/fusion-elite-44-front-axle-assembly-for-jeep-jk?variant=42059687395573 Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it right... after adding more lift to the Jeep last year (going from 3.5" to 4.5") I found the geometry of the UD44 that I installed a year and a half ago to be a little behind what I would like. So I started looking into other axle options that took into account the bit more aggressive build direction I was heading with the Jeep. After narrowing it down to the few top tier axle companies, a few of my very experienced Jeeper friends recommended the Fusion axles because the attention to the little details like track bar adjustability and quick turn around... and that's how I went this way. You'll see in the video just what kind of effort I take to make sure my Jeep is set up correctly. I'll show you how to measure and set the proper starting point for your axle install. Some of the other options I went with for this install are the Reid Racing knuckles (must have), Timken wheel bearings, RCV chromoly axle shafts and Rare Parts load sharing ball joints.
