Ultimately it begins and ends with the students practicing their hearts out. Originally, this song was supposed to be "A Greater Foundation" by As I Lay Dying and recorded in a studio. But the studio cost $60 an hour and OMF didn't have the funds. So instead we recorded it in a garage cuz you can't argue with free :) Then after a few lineup changes the students decided on "Before I Forget" by Slipknot instead. But everyone is a big fan of the As I Lay Dying video so the crew used that as the inspiration for this video....kids and their Dad's running around the garage like complete maniacs 😁 So this song was added to schedule and the invincible OMF kids and crew managed to record and film 16 songs in 3 days. A crazy task. But when you have students who are this cool and this talented you don't mind staying awake for a few days to make anything possible!
