Description: Get cute DIY room painting ideas inspired by my unicorn crystal cave bedroom and see the before and after transformation. Pastel color meshing faux finish and DIY pastel wall mural. Watch my room transform into a unicorn paradise! Color Meshing Info: This faux finish effect was super simple to achieve. All you need is standard latex interior house paint, brushes and a large sponge (like the ones you use to wash a car). This technique is great for multiple colors, I used about 6. Prime your sponge: first round out the sponge by removing the corners. Wet the sponge and then paint a little bit of each color on its surface. Painting: You simply paint blotches of each color (use enough paint so that its dripping) and then blot and rub it all together with the sponge!
