The plan was for our set in San Diego to be purely arrangements of my original music, but when we realized we were both massive Radiohead/Thom Yorke fans this song was added last minute. Geeking out over Radiohead was one of the first things we bonded over when we met, and eventually our first date was to an Atoms For Peace show at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. I've always been a huge fan of this string arrangement. I enjoy the simmering intensity of it, blasting off into raucous tension and explosive angst. I love what it brings out of the strings, and I really enjoy singing it. It features a part of my voice and character that doesn’t come out in my own writing very often.
