Description: Chord Progression: Bm7 D F#m7 E This is a B Dorian progression, in the key of F# minor (or A major). For scale choices you can start with the B minor pentatonic scale, after you’re too comfortable with this scale change it to F# minor pentatonic. Both scales will sound very nicely over the whole progression but will vary the “mood”, something to experiment with and since the only difference between both scales is one note (D for Bm pentatonic instead of C# for F#m pentatonic) the transition shouldn't be too difficult. Note: The last chord (E) is the one responsible for making this a Dorian progression, since in the key of B minor the iv chord should be Em. instagram.com/davidescobarguitar Backing Track of the Week: 12 Daft Punk – Get Lucky (Extended Backing Track) Guitar originally played by Nile Rodgers.
