Description: This baby horse was only 24 hours old in this video! Can you believe how they are up and walking, playing and bucking just after being born. It's amazing. This was my first time visiting with a 1 day old foal. Little male horses are called colts. I watched this little foal nursing from his mama (the mare) suckling milk from both sides. It was so cute watching him playing, running and bucking. He was stumbling around trying to figure out his long, new legs! His face was itchy and he kept trying to scratch it with his hoof. That was fun to watch. He went up to Steff and let her scratch it for him. The mama mare horse was so beautiful and she was VERY protective and even nipped at her foal to keep him away from us a couple of times. But she warmed up to us. He was such a friendly, cute little colt!
