Description: VARIATION: Before you start doing this trick, ask the spectator to pick a card from a different deck, then make sure you nor the spectator look at the card yet (even though you already suppose to know it (using a marked deck or a force card)). Then, you start doing this trick and revealed both cards simultaneously at the end (the spectator's card and your card). This effect is almost automatic and easy to do until you reach the 3rd layer where you need to start paying more attention getting ready for the 4th one, so you don't have to delay too much by the time you peel off the 4th layer and so on (until you finish). Is call the "onion deck" because it has similar properties like "peeling the layers" of the deck and getting closer to the "core" of it. It all depends on the top card to whether you injogged or outjogged it. This effect may not be astonishing for a general audience, but it a fair and fun looking procedure, that if you make this procedure clean enough for the audience, may surprise them a bit more. Compare to: The core by Pit Hartling. Even though I don't know his method nor the origin, this is my own idea for the setup.
