Description: If sunroof in #Audi A3 8V is not working correctly you can try to fix it by performing basic settings procedure. This can fix such issues like roof window not closing properly, not opening all the way, pinch protection is not detecting obstacles, single-press open and close is not working, sunroof not moving with comfort opening and closing triggered by the remote control. ℹ️ You don't need diagnostic interface to perform this procedure. Tools like OBDeleven, VCDS, VAP, ODIS, VAS, and other, can be helpful. But in this case you don't need any of those, or even don't need to visit garage for repair service. Just follow this DIY tutorial. ℹ️ Turn the ignition on, close the #sunroof, press and hold the control switch in closing position and wait for the basic settings procedure to begin. Don't release the switch until the procedure is complete. After 10-15 seconds roof window will start to move and will fully retract to find the open position. Next it will fully close and learn the closed position. After that the roof control module is programmed.
