Description: This is a video showing the drive from Las Vegas to the Tikaboo Valley on Groom Mine Road. Please don't worry if you don't like the music it's just in the beginning. I'm sorry I haven't been posting videos, but I've been very busy. I still have a lot of video from August thru November, but jumped ahead to new video. I can tell you for certain that there is no sniper on the so called sniper hill. I hiked the hill to see if I could get something on video. As I was trying to get as close as I could on a very very steep mountain. I noticed that I had accidentally crossed over the line, and more then just a few steps. As most of you know the black mailbox has been missing for years. Tour companies have been putting up plastic black mailboxes. Only to have parts of the box stolen. A person who lives in Rachel built a black mailbox very similar to the original one, but out of wood. The bottom part of the box is already broken off, and stolen. I am going to build a heavy steel black mailbox like the original one. I'm going to set the post with reinforcing steel welded onto the post deep into the ground then cement it in. The box to Steve Medlin, and the other box to the aliens will be out of 1/4" plate. If you would like your name welded onto the new black mailbox under people who helped put this here. I have to buy a 4'×8'×1/4" plate of steel, and a 20' length of 4"×4" heavy wall tube for the post. Cut the plate to make 2 boxes fully welded that have slots for mail, and a hinged side on each box. Then drive my service truck that gets 10 miles a gallon there, and back. Dig the hole then mix the concrete on site, and set the mailbox. Then of course PayPal has to take their cut.
