Then we got it and, well, it’s not a great product when compared to products from Mophie and Anker. The Apple Tax on the MagSafe Battery Case is brutal. It cost twice as much, has a 1/3 of the capacity and charges slower than the Mophie Snap+ Juice Pack and Anker PowerCore Magnetic 5k. The only upside is that it looks like an Apple product? AND if you’re using an iPhone 12 mini, the battery pack is going to sit flush with the device. BUT that shouldn’t be a reason to get the Apple MagSafe Battery Pack. Our top pick is going to be the Mophie Snap+ Juice Pack. It has a 5k (on paper) capacity. charges the fastest and the profile of the battery pack is slimmer so using it with an iPhone 12/Pro and Pro Max isn’t as clumsy.
