They thought it was a tiny tear but when they got in, they realized it was much bigger, so they had to go in and sew my muscle back together. The scar keloided so I had reconstructive surgery to try and repair it. They cut in a zigzag in an attempt to alleviate tension and avoid another keloid. It didn't work, so they ended up injecting my entire scar (several injections) with steroids to flatten the scar.
