Description: Allotment Diary : Planting out the Garlic & quick tour. How to grow garlic. Time to finally get going this year with the first vegetables planted outside. Garlic is so easy and it's just a matter of pushing a single clove about an inch below the surface of the soil and that's about it. I use my no dig bed for these. A bit of a look around the plot but not much happening yet. All the beds are coming together now and should be ready for the main growing starting around April time.
