Description: I really have to give all the credit to Spotify for this one. I think that it was them who recommended this song to me one month last year. Listen to it I did, over and over and over. This song was something special for my ears and mind, I just couldn't get enough. So I reached out to Alexa to see if she would be interested in recording it with us and, to my delight, she was keen. We went to Asheville North Carolina, where she currently resides, to record. Thanks to everybody in the community who gave us some great recommendations. We ended up heading to American vinyl co (americanvinylco.com/), an incredible operation in town that is bringing back the ancient art of vinyl making. It's like a museum in there, in fact there is a museum in there. Working devices the team there has fixed up from bygone eras. Shrines to Thomas Edison all the way to Alan Lomax. The same devices that John and Alan Lomax would have recorded on in the back of their model t Ford were hanging out on display. It was an awesome experience - definitely catch a show there if you get the chance. We will be working with them in the future to make some limited edition Gems vinyl, I assure you.
