Description: While I was following the contrail of a Boeing 787 of EL AL I was quite surprised when another plane suddenly crossed in front of the lens of my camera. I didn` t expect this situation because I was only focussing on the B787 of EL AL. After the unexpected crossover I started following the Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner. All of these clips were filmed while I was planespotting an entire day at Frankfurt Airport. All planes you can see here were filmed above the Frankfurt area and most of the clips were filmed within 7 hours. The biggest highlight was the private B747-400 of the Abu Dhabi Royal flight but sadly it didn` t have any contrails although it was flying on FL390. Especially when the sun was about to set the light was absolutly perfect for contrail filming. The belly of the Qatar Boeing 777-300 was illuminated by the setting sun. Even the special painted Airbus A380 of Emriates with the "50" decals passed by while operating a flight from Dubai to London Heathrow. There were lots of planes above Frankfurt which had Heathrow as their origin or destination.
