For the past 6 months I've been struggling to find a project that I thought was good enough to be working on. The result is that countless projects have been abandoned because I couldn't get them to sound like what I imagined. As I grew frustrated it became harder and harder to find an idea that I thought was good enough to work on. Watching other artist struggle with the same thing made me realize that I gave up way too soon and that I let doubt take over before I had the time to shape the project into something that I could enjoy working on. I actually wanted to abandon this very song in it's early stages but I am so glad that I didn't. The finished track is like a beacon of hope to me for when it happens again in the future. I tried to capture what I felt during that time in this track and I hope that sharing the song and the story behind it can inspire others.
