Description: Nox Kobus grew up in a Christian cult, replete with total control over various aspects of members’ lives, from the food they ate to the clothes they wore. When Nox saw that folks in the outside world were deviating from traditional gender expectations, fae immediately followed suit. What started with a tie on picture day eventually became a journey that involved leaving the cult, discovering fae were nonbinary, and raising faer child with a greater sense of freedom and fluidity than fae ever experienced growing up.
