Description: Hello everybody. My name is Dr.Liv Kraemer and I am a board certified dermatologist in Switzerland. A lot of my patients ask me what to do to avoid acne. This time I am in London for a dermatology conference. It is cold outside and everybody is wearing scarfs. Suddenly i realized that in the winter month a lot of people getting more acne and breakouts around their chin and lower face including neck. Back in my hotel room I decided to talk about the reason of your breakouts in winter. Let me ask you some questions: Did you ever thought about your scarf and coats? How often does your scarf fall down? How often do you wear your scarf before you wash it again? But you still love to cuddle with your scarf? Therefore I would like to share with you some common mistakes you could avoid during the winter month. Try to avoid touching your face with the scarf or coat to avoid pimples. Do not cuddle with the scarf. There are a lot of bacteria on it,which love to get into your skin. Try not to touch it with your dirty fingers. Also wash your scarf regularly. Of course also remember the normal roles to avoid acne: Wash your face twice daily with a foam instead of a soap. Wash your face with care. Take your time and do not use hot water. Use lukewarm water. Take your time while washing your face and never go to bed without removing your make-up. There are so many tips i would like to share.
