This design has been created for Paula, who reached out asking if I could help with a design incorporating all her favourite spring and summer flowers. Paula was a little hesitant and wasn’t sure whether these two seasons could be mixed/blended. I say whatever gives floral joy is more than OK! Things to gather: - Vase – mine is 19” tall x 9” across & has been paint finished black using my cheats quick and easy chalk paint. Recipe – 1/3 cup plaster of Paris mixed with 1/3 cup water. Stir to combine well, before adding a cup of matt black acrylic paint. Apply two coats allowing each to dry between coats. - Many flowers in many colours to create a beautiful visual display of flowers. Paula loved camellia, lilac, peonies, ranunculas, roses, dahlias along with all the colours - which actually is what polychromatic and millefiori mean!
