Description: The Target audience of this video are people who have not purchased or played Elden Ring due to the oppressive atmosphere surrounding the game and it's community; a TL;DW for this video is pretty simple: The memes are just memes, the game is the most accessible in the series to date, you should play it. That is the point and purpose of the video. Everything else is just me having fun discussing random things. Although I’ve completed Demon Souls and Dark Souls 1-3, Elden Ring is the first Fromsoft Action JPRG that I’ve looked at and said: “Yes, I’ll play that again.'' That's very high honors for a series that I am quite frankly not a fan of. Let’s discuss why that is, but first, let’s discuss the community surrounding Souls Games and why they are misunderstood by the public. People who’ve never played a Souls Game likely never intend to play one due to bad memes fostered by the community without intending to ruin it for others, but do so anyway because of how Toxic the community as a whole appears, despite most of that being jokey memes, which is extra ironic since the memes that keep people from buying these games are making fun of the toxic people in the first place. None of it is any individual's fault. But I have absolutely interacted with people who gave the series a pass for these reasons, and that's that type of person this video is for.
