Description: For your chance to win two seats on one of the FIRST Virgin Galactic flights to space and support a great cause, enter at omaze.com/IvanMiranda. I swapped the last plastic parts of the CNC mill for parts milled on the CNC mill itself! It took a few attempts but it is stronger and better now, I guess? At least the machine is all metal where it counts now and this was a great test to see if I could do more intense work on the mill than in my other CNC router and good news, I can. 20mm thick aluminium is machined with ease and as soon as I get proper bits for each material and learn my feeds and speeds once for all I'll get a lot of fun with this machine. I don't discard doing another iteration of the frame so I can maximise my chances of it being straight and parallel but for now I'll use it. Enjoy!!
