In today’s video, we’ll introduce some of the most baffling Archaeological Discoveries that have left even the biggest minds wondering. Take a look at these artifacts and enjoy as we show you 7 most mysterious objects ever found! 1.      Tutankhamun’s Dagger One of the major discoveries of the twentieth century was none the other but the Tomb of Tutankhamun. When the infamous Valley of the Kings was found in 1922, many interesting and mysterious artifacts rose to the surface since the tombs were crowded with riches. 2.      Thor’s Hammer The story of this artifact starts with thousand of similar objects found all over Northern Europe. The ornaments resembling the hammer were found shattered all over the Viking settlements in Europe. It has led scholars to believe that these are connected to the infamous Thor’s Hammer Mjolnir. But even though it made a lot of sense, not much evidence was provided to directly connect them. 3. Kilwa Coins This discovery questions all of the history books. The copper coins were found in 1944. on the Wessel Islands. The archeologist Mike Hermes, who found the coins, said that they date back to before the 15th century. He assumed the origin of the coins to be the Kilwa Sultanate, today’s Tanzania. 4. UFO Tooth Wheel Our next story starts in Russia. A man from Vladivostok was trying to light a fire with coal when he discovered something strange. Inside one piece of coal, he found a toothed wheel. Even though a lot of people in Russia throw old parts of machinery everywhere, something made this mane curious that this is not just another discarded object. He gave the wheel for further analysis. When scientists tested it, they discovered that it was 300 million years old, that it was aluminum and that it was artificially made.  5. The Piri Reis Map  In 1513. An Ottoman Empire cartographer, Piri, decided to create a map of the world that is as complete and as accurate as it can be. For his quest, he did not sail and explore for himself. Instead, he took around 20 different maps and he merged them on a piece of gazelle skin. The maps he used included Columbus maps, the ones from India, China and Arabic maps. 6.      Dropa Stones Here comes another alien story, but this one shows them as habitants of the Earth. Dropa stones were found on the border between China and Tibet, in the mountains of Baian Kara-Ula in 1938. The stones are said to be a set of 716 disks that have some inscriptions carved on the surface. The somewhat resemble hieroglyphic writings.  The odd part is that they are 12 thousand years old. 7.      Yonaguni Jima The story of Atlantis has become the most popular story about the ancient city that sunk and got forgotten thanks to the movies who heavily influenced the legend. But what would happen if we made movies about all the sunken cities of the world? There is a lot more to be said and seen underwater than we expect.
