Description: 60 minutes pure aviation with lots of crosswind landings. February 2022 was one of the stormiest months ever and I spent lots of time filming crosswind landings at Düsseldorf and Amsterdam Schiphol. Especially the first Airbus A380, filmed at Düsseldorf, was quite special. The aircraft drifted over the runway and it` s just incredible to see this massive bird moving around like that. At Düsseldorf the storm reached wind gusts up to 40 knots. At Amsterdam Schiphol the storm reached wind speeds up to 65 knots which was incredible. I wasn` t even able to stand stable on the ground anymore because the wind kept pushing me forward. The Boeing 767 of Latam Cargo performed a go around and landed safely during its second attempt. Most planes performed a very wobbly approach and it was weird to see these planes pointing its nose right at my camera until touchdown. I also filmed at Liege last month. The JetOneX departure to Kuala Lumpur was recorded there. Usually Liege is the place to be if you would like to see as many B747` s as possible but lately the traffic ad the airport is quite calm.
