Description: Hello #Sundari Today we are talking about the 5 #Monsoon #haircare 5. If your hair takes a long time to dry usually, chances are it is taking it way more time to dry in the monsoons. When your scalp remains wet and hasn’t dried properly in the monsoons there are chances of bacterial growth on your scalp, which can be itchy and painful so try investing in a good Hair dryer and use it on mild warm till your hair is dry, unlike other seasons when blow-drying your hair is considered damaging, in the monsoons there is extra moisture in the air that needs to be removed or else you are at the risk of developing a scalp issue and you don’t want that. 4.If you are someone that always gets an itchy scalp in the monsoon even after drying your hair completely, maybe the level of moisture in the air and the amount of oil on your scalp is the real reason behind it, so rather than continuously shampooing your hair, try to add Neem based products in your hair routine, you can use neem sprays, shampoos, soak some neem leaves in water, make a paste of it and then apply it to your scalp 2 times a week of you can just buy neem powder, make it into a paste and apply it to your scalp for 15 minutes, alternate days till the itchiness of your scalp goes away 3.Small things can make a lot of difference in the monsoons, if you are someone who uses a regular towel to dry your hair you will notice it stops working a lot for your hair because it can’t really absorb the moisture very quickly, and as I mentioned before having dry hair is very important in the monsoons so I would suggest you invest in a good quality microfibre towel that absorbs your hairs extra moisture quickly so you don’t have to worry about your wet hair. 2. Not only can your hair become frizzy in the monsoons due to extra moisture in the air, it can also become worse when you use a plastic comb to brush your hair. Plastic combs can induce static in your hair and mix static with frizzy hair in a recipe for disaster so opt for wooden combs that are better for your hair and don’t create static 1.No glycerin products. Glycerin is a humectant, which means it pulls moisture from the surrounding environment to add moisture to your hair. When the surrounding environment is very wet just as it is in the monsoons, the glycerin absorbs a ton of moisture, causing our hair to be frizzy, limp, big, and heavy so if you want to have non frizzy hair in the monsoons, try turning your products around and seeing if there is glycerin in it and don’t use them, try glycerin free alternative in monsoon. That’s is about it, I hope you guys found this useful and will be able to take care of your hair this monsoon.
