Description: I designed and printed a lampshade for my custom DIY Ryobi lamp. See full description for links and more. BULB ADAPTER NOW AVAILABLE FOR SALE! 300mpg.org/shop Please click SHOW MORE! [EDIT]: Due to tremendous demand, I'm making the Ryobi to 18V bulb adapter available for sale here: 300mpg.org/ryobi-18v-light-bulb-adapter [END EDIT] The other day, I designed a 3D printed adapter that allows me to run a light bulb DIRECTLY from a Ryobi 18V battery! See the video at: youtu.be/nLNqwOpsZps That project was perfect for emergency lighting. I also thought it would be great for things like camping, but I noticed the light was kind of harsh if it was just set on a picnic table, and would be improved if it had a lampshade. Since I 3D printed the project in the first place, a matching 3D printed lampshade sounded like the answer! You can find the 3D model for the Ryobi Bulb Holder at: thingiverse.com/thing:5331517 Tools and Materials: Ender3 S1 3D printer: amzn.to/3iNNWkk PLA Filament: amzn.to/3JW5LJS I had some 8mm Nickel which I cut in half: amzn.to/3LmnlqI But the project is otherwise designed for 4mm, such as: amzn.to/3DjQFvi (I bet even aluminum foil would work! Somebody try it and let me know!) DC LED Light Bulbs: amzn.to/3qO1Ozv And if you have a PowerWheels or anything else you want to use a Ryobi battery with, you might want to look at: amzn.to/3tPqdqh Hope you like the project!
