Description: Hi, everyone! This week I present my long-awaited video of the assembly of my 3-D folk art bird nest cookie. You FINALLY get to see how it all comes together! Woo hoo! I start this video with the decorated base dome that I completed in my Part 1 video, which showed the shaping and decorating of the nest’s various component parts. If you haven’t yet seen that video, I encourage you to begin there and then return to this one. To that base decorated dome (which consists of four cookies), I add another six cookies, including the bird that sits in the nest, to build the entire project to about 15 inches tall. Lastly, I decorate it with fun folk art-style royal icing flowers and fondant vines, which I’ll demonstrate in a follow-up video that’s coming soon!
