Description: "To use this video in a commercial player, advertising or in broadcasts, please email Brave Bison at licensing@bravebison.io ***Read The Description*** Lava flow Kilauea volcano Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. "There's no active lava flowing anywhere in the park or on the island at this time" This is from two years ago. Nikon D800 and the Nikon 180mm 2.8. Shot at 1080p. Often people would comment that I should have filmed a particular flow longer. This shows you how long a typical breakout lasts from start to finish. The sounds near the end are the flow inflating. Often if there's enough volume and pressure the sealed flow will break open near the front and start all over again. It's a slow process. Thanks for subscribing and watching. Many more videos to come. Be patient. What I do isn't always easy. My usual warning. (No current active lava dangers) Do not attempt to do what I do. I have 28 years of experience and I know what I'm doing out there. So many things can go wrong for those who don't understand or can't recognize the dangers of a volcanic eruption. Stay away and watch my videos instead. Always use extreme caution at the sea cliffs and never walk out onto new land as it could easily collapse into the ocean taking you with it. As the bench grows the immediate sea cliff will be vulnerable to collapse also. I highly recommend you watching this HVNP safety video on safety at ocean entries. lavapix.com/#/page/lava-viewin... Also, it's best not to breath if you find yourself engulfed in the steam plume. If you think you will be in it often, be sure to wear a respirator or at the very least cover your mouth and nose with a shirt or similar when breathing.
