Description: We are taking a look, primarily, at the scenes from the Avengers movies with and without CGI. The gap between projects really accentuates just how much CGI has developed over the past couple of decades. It’s honestly pretty mind-blowing. From Jon Favreau completely lacking confidence in designing a digital Iron Man in the first movie in 2008 to where Avengers: Endgame left off eleven years later, it’s pretty impeccable to see the evolution. The filmmaking tech had to evolve with Stark Tech. And these advancements to the Iron Man suit advanced Ultron and Ultron’s army as well. Imagine Marvel’s struggle if they started with Ultron and not Iron Man. It literally would have been impossible (or at least super expensive and bulky or incredibly paired down). Robert Downey Junior also had a genius idea that was implemented. The Hulk also got a few updates which are what led to Smart Hulk even being able to exist. Have you seen what The Rabbit… We mean, the raccoon, Rocket Raccoon looks like without CGI? It’s pretty freaky. Just kidding, it’s just Sean Gunn hobbling around but it’s hilarious to watch! Impressive he’s even able to take himself seriously. Speaking of seriously, don’t take us too seriously we got super psyched about some green and blue screens near the end. We apologize in advance for that, it’s pretty lame to have two whole entries dedicated to screens. Can you guess which super suits were completely CGI? And no, we aren’t talking about Rocket or Groot or any other humanoid creature. Prepare to feel all the feels when we recontextualize Peter and Tony hugging. All that and more ahead!
