Description: Volkswagen's 'T' SUV family just got bigger with the introduction of the Taigo coupe SUV. The unique body shape is the first to be launched in Europe, and regarding local availability, the model is set to be introduced in 2022 - slot between the T-Cross and T-Roc models. The German brand released initial sketches of the model earlier in 2021. The conveyor belt to production is well in operation for its official European debut at the end of the year. Like the rest of VW's vehicles, the Taigo will make use of TSI engines - though specification for both European and local models will be confirmed closer to its launch. The coupe SUV measures 4.26-metres in length, and the exterior is also decked with features like LED Matrix headlights and a distinctive illuminated radiator grille crossbar. A multifunctional steering wheel and infotainment system make up the interior bits - through an eSIM online control unit, App-Connect Wireless, streaming services, natural voice control, and a cloud-based Volkswagen ID are also on offer. Some of the standard driver assistance systems include city emergency braking and lane departure warning, while the new IQ.DRIVE Travel Assist is available as an optional extra.
