Description: Today i am going to show you how to make ( 110v to 120v ) AC supply from your 220v ( actual 250v ) home socket using microwave oven transformer in step down mode upto 2000w. First, i am going to modify the transformer output by the rewinding process. Its quite simple and this technique can also be applied on UPS transformers if you don't have a MOT ( microwave oven transformer ). Note that the same transformer that was initially working as a Step up Transformer will now work as a step down transformer. For 110v output , lesser turns will be given to the secondry.
