Description: [Low Intermediate] How to fold a 12-Pointed Star Frisbee that flies straight or it can even boomerang if thrown just right. The star itself is seamless, meaning there are no edges or creases inside the star. The white border around the star is not seamless but the back of the model is almost seamless. I designed the prototype for this model at the request of my Zoom student, Kaustubh, from Nepal who requested that we make a 12-point star because there is one on the Nepal flag, and we managed to design/fold it all in about 15 minutes. After the tutoring session I folded the model over and over (more than 20 times!) gradually refining it until I was happy with the the model and folding sequence. Although it's very clean looking, the geometry of this model is not exact because the raw corners are 90° angles whereas the other 8 white flaps are obtuse (greater than 90°). However, special for my members, I managed to design a version of this model that is not at all seamless, but is mathematically exact meaning all the points of the star are equilateral triangles and it's a perfect dodecagon.
