Description: Needle Felting For Beginners: Tip 1: Needles with the higher number gauge has finer tips which can polish the more detailed surface. Like Gauge 42 is better at details than gauge 40. Tip 2: If you want to make a big sized ball(for example), start with the small ball first. Because if it's smaller, you can add more wool or fiber to make it bigger, but if it's bigger, it's not reversible. Tip 3: Always poking on a felting mat,( can be the one we showed at the beginning of the video, but need to be careful check frequently while working to prevent the wool/fiber sticks to the mat), or you can choose to use a thick sponge, but the sponge will need to be replaced often after using. Tip 4: Always poking diagonally, which means, take your needle out the same direction as you poke, otherwise, your needle is very easy to break.
